A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME AS A CRAFTER...
I love making personalized gifts!
If I have someone in mind when I'm creating it gives the project that "something special" that makes it even better in the end.
Being creative is a blessing and a curse.
I love thinking outside the box and making things special but sometimes I wish my brain would allow for a little more, "it's good enough" because the countless hours I spend on personalization are nuts! (But I love it!!!)
Attention to detail is an understatement!
I spend more time mixing paint colors to make just the right color to match the paper I'm using on a particular project than I do any other task. It's the little details that nobody but me notices that make the biggest impact on the overall project.
Here's an example of where I was able to make a custom piece for a friend whose daughter is OBSESSED with Stitch! It only took 5 colors to match his greenish/blueish skin. I think I came pretty stinkin' close!
8 colors mixed together to match this teal-colored paper... I'm telling you - I get just a LITTLE nutty over this part!
